Brapp was a mobile-first social platform built for emerging producers and artists to create, collaborate, and connect—breaking down barriers of geography, genre, and cost.
Producers could upload their beats, and anyone could record one-minute videos over them directly in the app, layering vocals and applying high-quality effects in real time. Sharing was seamless—within Brapp and across social platforms. It made musical collaboration feel as spontaneous and effortless as snapping a selfie.
As Co-founder and Chief Creative, I designed the app and led the development of the Brapp brand. Since launching in late 2015, Brapp reached users in over 100 countries and hosted thousands of collaborations—many of which evolved into official releases. In 2016, we launched Brapp Records to support and release music and video content by emerging artists discovered on the platform and beyond.
